There was no winner of the Balto Lotto Draw held on 18th  April. The Numbers drawn were 03,12,13 and 23. There were however 5 match 3 winners, each of whom win €60.00. The Jackpot for the draw to be held on 25th April is €13,000  and is in Horans Pub on Main Street. Why not give it a go and purchase a €2.00 Lotto ticket from any business premises, in the town, Committee Members or designated sellers. €13,000 is not to be sniffed at.

Club/County GAA Development Draw

For several years now, the clubs major fund raiser has been this draw and we would like to thank everyone for their support. The tickets are €50 each which, we appreciate is not insignificant, however there are 3 draws which take place at the end of May, June and July, with a first prize of €10,000, Second Prize:€5000, Third Prize: €2500, Fourth Prize: €1500, Fifth Prize: €1000 and Sixth to Twelfth Prizes of €150 each. Last year we were lucky enough to have a €10,000 winner and a €5,000 winner along with several smaller prize winners to the chances of coming out of the hat are relatively good. As we said, this is the Clubs major fundraiser and we would like you to continue supporting us this year.

Well done to our two U8 girls teams who played brilliantly at their blitz in Blessington on Saturday.

The U14 girls were beaten by St. Pats in the league despite a spirited come back towards the end. The girls started well and went in at half time, very much in the game. However, St. Pats, came out of the blocks in the second half and meant business. Their forward line went exploited the space and ran in waves at the girls and looked to be out of sight half way through the second half. However with our backs finally starting to get to grips, and a commanding performance by Ella Parke who took the game by the scruff of the neck, they managed to reduce what was at one point a nine point deficit to just two. However, unfortunately, the full time whistle came a few minutes to early on the night.

U14 Boys.

For the first time in the clubs history, we have entered two U14 boys team in the League this year. They are competing in Division A and Division C and both had very good wins this week. The A team had a really good win in a very exciting match against Tinahely, who had beaten them in the Feile competition. On Wednesday night, the lads managed to win at home on a score line of 02.20 to 03.12. The U14 C team also had a very convincing win away to An Tochar on Wednesday Night. Well done to Hugh Kenny, Brian Hunter and all of their coaches for this achievement.

The Wicklow Minor Girls had a very good win over Laois on Wednesday Night last. Well done to Marie and Mia who represented the club on the night.

Well done to the First year Girls of Scoil Chonglais who won the First year football Super sevens this week

Hard luck to the Intermediates who were unfortunately beaten by An Tochar  on Friday Night 2.12 to 0.08 However on Tuesday, they had a very good draw with Ballinacor. Both matches in the league
