There was no winner of the Balto Lotto Draw held on 17th May. The Numbers drawn were 04, 07, 09 and 27. There were however 4 match 3 winners, each of which win €75.00. The Jackpot for the draw to be held on 23rd May13,800  and is in Lissie Keoghs Pub, Weaver’s Square. Why not give it a go and purchase a €2.00 Lotto ticket from any business premises, in the town, Committee Members or designated sellers


 Senior Men

Well done to the Senior Men, who had a very good win over Newtown in the League.


U10 Girls

The U10 Girls are going from strength to strength and played extremely well against Blessington on Saturday Morning. Well done to Brian and his team of coaches who are doing a great job with this team.


Football Coaching Workshop

There will be a football coaching workshop on “breaking down the blanket defence” on Wednesday, 25th May at 7.45 in the GAA grounds. This workshop which will be presented by Sean Kelly will look and Defence to Attack Principles, Options to beat the Blanket Defence and Game Based Activities that will assist in breaking down the blanket defence. The workshop is open to all coaches and for booking information please contact Paul Garrigan on 083 4366801


Scoil Chonglais

Well done to the Scoil Chonglais Junior team who won the Post Primary Junior Championship on Wednesday by beating Colaiste Bhride in the final which was held in Aughrim on Wednesday. The same two Schools also met in the First year final with Cholaiste Bhride coming out on top in that game. Well done to both schools,


Club/County GAA Development Draw

For several years now, the clubs major fund raiser has been this draw and we would like to thank everyone for their support. The tickets are €50 each which, we appreciate is not insignificant, however there are 3 draws which take place at the end of May, June and July, with a first prize of €10,000, Second Prize:€5000, Third Prize: €2500, Fourth Prize: €1500, Fifth Prize: €1000 and Sixth to Twelfth Prizes of €150 each. Last year we were lucky enough to have a €10,000 winner and a €5,000 winner along with several smaller prize winners to the chances of coming out of the hat are relatively good. As we said, this is the Clubs major fundraiser and we would like you to continue supporting us this year
