The Intermediate men suffered a heavy defeat on Tuesday night at the hands of Dulavin. The Scoreline was Dunlavin 5.15 Baltinglass 1.08. They unfortunately suffered a second defeat to Rathnew on Sunday evening in Aughrim, though putting in a much better performance they went down to Rathnew on a scoreline of 1.10 to 0.08.

The Senior Ladies took on AGB at home on Tuesday night in the championship and started brightly with two well taken first half goals. However AGB were relentless in their play and their full forward line and midfield were very influential on the night. Baltinglass had regained the lead with just 10 minutes to go when an accidental collision resulted in one of the AGB players in need of an medical attention. The wait for an ambulance was such that play was unable to resume. Many supporters said that this was the best game of open football that they had seen all year with two very evenly matched teams giving their utmost to win the game. It was a shame that it ended in such a fashion but we would like to wish the injured AGB player a speedy recovery and we look forward to re-play of this fixture.

Under 8 & 10 Boys Go Games.

Saturday morning the pitch was a hive of activity for the last home go games this season. AGB Arklow & Knockananna were the opponents and two matches were played allowing the players to demonstrate all the skills they have learned. Many thanks to the young whistle blowers who have supported us during the season-Sean, Aaron, Cian, Adam, Jack & Paddy. Also special thanks to the ladies who baked & made sandwiches. The display was fabulous. Thanks to those who organised the tea/coffee. Finally congrats & thanks to all the coaches & helpers Keith, Derek, John K, John N, Stephen, Eoin, Paudge & Gareth.

U9&10 Girls,

A huge well done to the U9 and U10 girls who both recorded a one point win against Kilcullen in Kilcullen on Saturday. Coach, Brian Hunter was very impressed with the defensive display of both teams. The focus of training over the next week will be on attacking play, and we hope that all of the girls will be available for this.

The U8 girls had a great challenge against St. Laurences on Saturday morning and played really well by all accounts.

U12 Boys.

Well done to the U12 boys who beat Eire Og Greystones in the Mini League on Monday Evening. The lads put in a very good performance and remain unbeaten in the League. Subject to fixture changes, they have no match in Wicklow until 15th August but are well

on the way to reaching their 3rd Division 1A final in a row. Well done to all of the lads who are putting in a great effort at training and are improving no end.

Well done to Sarah Jane, Helena and Marie who represented Wicklow Ladies in their great win against Roscommon in the qualifiers on Saturday.
