The third and final County Development draw was a hugely successful one for Baltinglass Supporters 5 of the 20 tickets drawn on the night were sold from the club. We were delighted that for the second year running one of the top prizes of €10,000 went to the club and congratulations to Jack Cully, who was the recipient. Congratulations also to Marie O’Shea and Anne Hunt, who scooped €1000.00 and to Adam & Katelyn O’Brien, Alex and Katie Murphy and Patrick Gahan who won €150 each. We appreciate the efforts that all the sellers made to sell these tickets and of course all of those who dug deep and purchased one. This is one of our principal sources of revenue each year and we can not thank enough, those people who buy a ticket year on year.

Forget Strictly . Forget The Cube . Forget the Thorny Rose, X Factor etc, etc This year Balto takes on the Broadway Challenge. On the October Bank Holiday Weekend, every road leads to Mount Wolseley where 10 teams from Baltinglass, each with stars in their eyes will forget the inhibitions and be prepared to wow audiences as they take the Glitz and Glamour of Broadway to the Stage. Preparations will soon be underway and if you feel that you have what it takes to Belt out the Beatles, Sing the Songs of Sister Act or give Grease a go – please let us know. Likewise, if you feel that your skills are better suited to having a drink and a laugh at the expense of the poor deluded eejits on stage, we have a seat waiting for you . This is not just a Baltinglass GAA Club Event – it is a community event and we would love your support. In return for your support, we guarantee to keep you entertained. Who knows, the next Paul Potts or Susan Boyle could be training our U8 s and we just don’t know it?. You could be in a position to say you you were there Likewise, some of the Club Patrons could make a total hash of everything and fall off the stage – and again, you could be in a position to say you were there. Mark it in your diary – Keep an eye out for promotional material, keep in touch with the club and come and have a great night out.
