Secondlay, if you find that there is a lull after the big day and often find yourself with a void to fill on St.Stephens day, we are happy to say that this year we have a solution to this perennial problem.

The inaugural Baltinglass GAA Street League is taking place at 11am in the Club grounds on Stephens Day. Eight areas from across the parish will be represented in the 7 a side tournament. Anyone who is over the age of 17 , be they male or female can take part and all supporters are welcome. Participants can register on the day from 9:30am. For more details, please see our Facebook page. Tea, coffee and mince pies for all supporters. Club Captain Jason Kennedy commented that It will be a change for the juveniles to see some of the past greats of the club back with a bang showing all the younger players how it's done, We all echo Jason’s comments and are really looking forward to it. Rumour has it that Robert McHugh has been seen purchasing a new pair of gold football boots for the occasion, but to see if that is in fact the case, why don’t you make your way up to the pitch on the 26th to support the lads.
