Well done to the Under 10 Girls on a great performance on Sunday morning and win over Eadestown in their first outing in the Kildare League. Well done to all the girls and their coaches and thanks to all the parents for the great support.  Good Luck to the girls in the rest of the league.

Our Senior Men played two tough games at home this week. First up were Blessington on Tuesday evening. Baltinglass got off to a good start and were leading by 2-05 to 0-5 coming up to half time with the goals coming from Chris Heaslip and Sean O Brien, but conceded 1-01 to allow Blessington back into the game. Baltinglass got on top again in the second half and a second Sean O Brien goal helped to secure a 3-12 to 1-13 win. Scorers, Sean O Brien 2-01, Chris Heaslip 1-03, Mark Jackson 0-3, Adam McHugh, Henry Sinnott 0-2 and Jason Kennedy 0-1.

Next up on a wet and windy Saturday evening were Eire OG Greystones. This was not to be as high a scoring game, with both teams struggling to make an impact when playing against the wind. Baltinglass had the wind in the first half and were leading at half time on a score of 0-6 to 0-0. Eire Og got back into the game early in the second half with some good scores, but Baltinglass did well to hang on for their second win of the week on a score of 0-8 to 0-7. Scorers Mark Jackson 0-4, Henry Sinnott 0-2, Sean O Brien and Adam McHugh 0-1. Next up are Blessington away on Friday evening at 8pm.
